Rovers B grade hold on in a thriller

Renmark defeated Barmera-Monash by 2 points in a thrilling B grade grand final on Saturday.

After falling behind early, Dale Lellmann and Rob Searle led a third quarter blitz which yielded 5 goals in 7 minutes for the Rovers.

The Roos finished well, but could not quite haul in the Rovers, falling two points sure as the boys from Renmark celebrated a well-earned victory.

Earlier, it was the gutsy efforts of Karl Willmore that kept the Rovers in the game. Willmore was under every pack to keep the ball going the Rovers’ way.
